I’m over the moon to share my new podcast Talking to Smart People! Every other week I’ll be sitting down with chefs, creators, entrepreneurs, and other creatives to talk about their lives, their work, and what we can all learn from their unique experiences.
If you know me, you know I’m aggressively extroverted. One of my favorite activities is cornering interesting people at a party, and peppering them with questions about their stories, passion projects, and expertise. This podcast is a great excuse to have more of those kinds of conversations, and I hope you enjoy them!
For my first episode, I was so fortunate to chat with Caitlin Murray of @bigtimeadulting. We talk all things motherhood, brand building, and of course, getting ourselves a snack.

I want to take a quick minute to thank some of the wonderful people who have helped me navigate launching this podcast baby: R.L. Willis jumped in to edit with skill and a can-do attitude, and Christopher Kalafarski has been patient and helpful with every question - the PRX Podcast Garage is such an incredible resource in Boston.
Lastly, a big thank you to Ryan Habbyshaw, a talented designer and friend whom I will always refer to as my creative midwife, for helping me name the show, and for designing the cover.

But where is my Recipe, Catherine??
It’s coming! I’ve decided to move regular recipe newsletter programming to Wednesdays. You could say it’s a nod to classic newspaper food section day…but also my Mondays were feeling too crazy and the last thing any of us need is a frantic send.
See you on Wednesday! We’ll roll into soup season with a cozy clam chowder recipe that’s full of fresh briny clams, sweet corn and leeks, and studded with bacon mmmmm.
